CO2 Laser Silklase

CO2 laser - Silklase

Restore youthful skin in just a few minutes

SILKLASE™ is the most advanced fractional CO2 technology for skin rejuvenation. Used for over 20 years in facial treatments, it is recognized as one of the most effective and popular methods for skin regeneration.

By using micro-laser beams that create small impacts on the treated area, it stimulates collagen production, promoting deep regeneration and long-lasting overall rejuvenation.

Fractional CO2 laser is especially recommended for treating eyelid sagging (medical blepharoplasty), with visible results from the very first session, safely.

It is also indicated for correcting various skin imperfections, such as:

Photoaging

Facial wrinkles

Pigment spots

Scars (acne, atrophic, post-surgical, keloid)

Stretch marks

Keratoses and warts

How Does It Work?

The fractional CO2 laser works by sending fine laser beams onto the skin, creating micro-perforations while keeping the surrounding areas intact. This promotes rapid healing, as the untreated skin areas accelerate regeneration.

These micro-impacts stimulate collagen production, an essential protein for maintaining skin firmness and elasticity. Over time, this regeneration improves the texture and overall appearance of the skin, effectively reducing wrinkles, spots, and scars.

The Silklase laser is perfectly safe, even for sensitive areas like the eyelids, providing a gentle treatment suitable for these delicate parts.

From the very first session, the skin becomes visibly brighter and firmer, with a noticeable improvement in texture. Deeper wrinkles continue to gradually diminish in the months that follow, thanks to the ongoing collagen stimulation triggered by the laser.

The Silklase fractional CO2 laser treatment offers long-lasting results, which can extend for several months or even years. To maintain these effects, additional sessions can be performed to ensure long-term results.

FAQs

Answers to frequently asked questions about Silklase.

+ - What does a Silklase session entail?

After a prior consultation with Dr. Simon Sebbah, a numbing cream is applied to the area(s) to be treated, and the session can begin.

Depending on the extent of the area being treated, a CO2 laser session lasts between 20 to 60 minutes.

The procedure is minimally painful and causes a warming sensation.

After the treatment, the sensation will feel similar to a sunburn that lasts for a few hours.

+ - What are the contraindications?

This treatment can be performed on men and women of all ages and skin types.

However, a prior consent form must be signed for minor patients, and the session must be conducted in the presence of a parent.

This procedure cannot be performed on tanned skin. The patient must wait until the skin has completely faded before undergoing this treatment.

+ - What are the side-effects?

Following the treatment, a week of social avoidance is expected during which the swelling will subside within 3-4 days, and the micro-scabs that appeared will disappear.

It is advised to avoid sun exposure on the treated areas and to use a sunscreen with SPF 50.
